The Faculty for Learning Disability provides a forum for Psychologists who have an interest in working with adults with learning disabilities. We encourage the exchange of information, ideas and expertise through regional groups, by putting on conferences and by publishing a Newsletter.

- Presentations from the Faculty event 'Definitions and contexts: Future directions in defining learning disabilities' are now available on the website.
- Further details of the University of Nottingham's new course on 'Psychologically Minded Environments in Intellectual Disability', including course dates and links for further information, are now on the website.
- A summary of some of the actions taken by the LD Faculty following the events at Winterbourne View Hospital is now on the website.
- Karen Dodd and Alick Bush have developed the
Quality
Outcome Measure for Individuals with Dementia (QOMID), which has been designed to
measure the quality outcomes for any person with dementia. The measure is available on the Useful Information & Links section of the website.
- Presentations from the 2012 Joint conference with the Royal College of Psychiatry and the one-day Advancing Practice CPD events are now available.
- 29/4/2012 - The report of the Faculty project on outcome measures for challenging behaviour interventions is now available. This includes links to where two of the recommended measures can be downloaded.
